Glacial Acetic Acid is used to treat fish with superficial parasitic infections, or ectoparasites. Treatment is carried out "bathing" or "dipping" the infected fish in a diluted solution of Glacial Acetic Acid (1-2 ml for every Liter of water). The duration of the bath varies depending upon the severity of the infection, and size of the fish, lasting anywhere from 45 seconds to 10 minutes.
