Guppy Disease
Symptoms:

This disease, so far, is only known to affect Guppies. Symptoms include clamped fins, white spots around the mouth and gills, and may also include a loss of appetite.

Cause:

The ciliate protozoan Tetrahymena.

Treatment:

The only treatment regimen known to be effective against Guppy Disease is Formalite II and Super Velvet Plus used in combination. Medicate all fish and the entire aquarium for three days (daily), after which time, perform a 50% water change. If after three days there are still any apparent symptoms, continue treatment for another three days. It is also important to keep your guppies in warm, moderately hard, alkaline water.
